The idea of curb appeal is to make a good first impression. The goal is to set the tone for the buyer's visit to your property. So be careful that you don't have a gorgeous front yard but a shockingly messy home on the inside. It also doesn't help if you have a dishevel front yard but a picture perfect home inside. Both of those scenarios are not ideal. As the seller you want to provide a positive experience for potential buyers. With that said you should have a clean house inside and out.

Curb Appeal Tips:

• Keep the walkway to your front door clean and clear. 
• Keep landscaping simple (buyers rarely want to care for an abundance of plants, and that is why simple is key). 
• Make sure there are no trip hazards (children's toys, garden hoses, looses stones, etc.). 
• If you have steps, insure that railings are not loose and are freshly painted.
• And don't forget the cob webs on the front door they are only appropriate in October!
